Unfortunately, fans that were interested in purchasing the remake this coming December will have to wait a while longer.Advance Wars 1+2 Reboot Camphas been delayed from December 3rd to Spring 2022. The delay to Spring 2022 could be considered is a little odd sinceAdvance Wars 1+2 Reboot Campwas originally going to be released in December. Now the title doesn’t have a specific date but rather a range that makes the problem seem larger than it is. That being said, this is probably no cause of concern as there can be various behind-the-scenes reasons for the delay including something as simple as not wanting to release the remake during a packed week or month.
The delay is unfortunate though as December is looking a little empty when it comes to video game releases. The exception, of course, beingHalo Infinite’srelease, though that’s only for PC and Xbox and doesn’t impact Switch owners who may have been looking forward to playingAdvance Wars.
Overall, though, this is actually good news in the end as the finished product will be even further polished.
