After a 13-year-long hiatus,Alan Wake 2has fans returning to see what the famous novelist has been up to since the original 2010 title. Trapped in the Dark Place for all that time, the sequel is now firmly planted in the survival horror genre. With this switch and the addition of a completely new playable character, Saga Anderson, the world ofAlan Wake 2is both more dangerous and expansive compared to its predecessor. Players will find themselves in larger areas that are sometimes easy to get lost in. Within many of them, there are plenty of side puzzles and secrets for players to uncover along the way.

Saga’s chapter titled Return 3: Local Girl is quite a long one, packed with interesting characters and information vital to her understanding of what’s happening in Bright Falls as she unpacks the mystery. As Saga tracks down various local residents and other leads in the aptly named Watery region, she may happen across odd scenes in the form of nursery rhymes. One such rhyme can be found inAlan Wake 2’s Coffee World amusement park, though players will not be able to immediately access it, as it requires some progress in the main story first.

To find this one, players will need to make their wayeast of the Coffee World Gift Shop, north of the Percolator ride, and through the Fair Trade Zone to the Latte Lagoon. There, at the end of a lonely pier and some sad-looking paddle boats, is a nursery rhyme experiment set up by the Federal Bureau of Control:

Though this one isn’t as tricky as some othernursery rhymes inAlan Wake 2’s Watery region, it is worth checking out, especially for completionists. Players can solve this riddle by making sure they have the three following dolls collected:Moose,Deer, andTrickster. With all in their inventory, players then shouldput the Deer on the boat drawing, the Moose on the waves, and the Trickster on the jewelry:

Place Moose Doll on the waves.

Place Trickster Doll on the jewels.

After correctly arranging these as above, a paddle boat will drift slowly inland from the right. Once it bumps against the side of the pier, players can snag a Mr. Drippy charm from it. This one can be quite beneficial in tough situations, as it will increase Saga’s damage against foes when she is low on health.

At the mention of tough situations, players should also be sure to take caution when returning through the main area of the Fair Trade carnival grounds from the rhyme scene, as a group of 2-3 Taken will be stalking around the various booths and will attack on sight.
