As more and more streaming services come out like Netflix, Hulu, Paramount Plus, Disney Plus, and so on, it becomes more confusing what to keep, what to watch where, and so on. Luckily, though, gaming services tend to be a little more limited. Sure, for someone with a Playstation, Xbox, Switch, and PC, it’s overwhelming, butPlayStation has PS Now and PS Plus, Xbox Has Xbox Live Gold and Game Pass, Switch has Nintendo Switch Online, and PC users have a wider selection and less typical service models.

Why Amazon Prime Gaming is the Underdog (And Why You Should Bet on It)
PS Plus is the hardest to predict, just because it changes its pattern every few months. For a while, it was one big AAA game and one smaller game, then it was a wide assort of high quality and varied games, new PS5 gamesgot mixed into that, and finally right now PS Plus seems to be in a transition period.
This puts Amazon in an interesting spot. Not only does it currently and typically offer more than any of the above combined, but the past few months have generally been as good, if not better, than all of these services.

Amazon Prime Gaming’s Free Games for December Are Top Notch
November’s headlining games, for example,Control: Ultimate Edition,Dragon Age: Inquisition, andRise of the Tomb Raider, while December’s isNeed for Speed Hot Pursuit, Journey to the Savage Planet, andFootball Manager 2021.Joining it next month areMorkredd, Spellcaster University, YouTube’s Life, Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse, andTales of Monkey Island Complete Pack.Plus, Amazon Prime Gaming will be giving away in-game content forBattlefield 2042, Apex Legends, Fall Guys, Genshin Impact, New World, andRoblox.
All in all, it has more interesting,smaller-scale games than Epic Games Store, while offering big varied titles that capture the best parts of PS Plus. And, on top of that, it’s the only service that really pushes in-game content as its own bonus. Amazon Prime Gaming manages to stand out among giants like PlayStation and Xbox, and while that’s expected of a company Amazon’s size, it’s nice and refreshing to see. Many players aren’t even familiar with or claiming the bonuses or games they’re all entitled to, and that will hopefully change as Prime Gaming maintains this upward momentum.
