Updated September 18th, 2023: TheMoonlight Swordis a must-have for fans of From Software games andArmored Core 6junkies in general. Players who have progressed inArmored Core 6far enough can find this elusive and visually stunning sword if they know just where to look. Thankfully theMoonlight Sword in AC6isn’t too difficult to obtain. To better help players find theMoonlight Sword Location in Armored Core 6, the following guide has been updated to include a video.

Armored Core 6 Moonlight Blade Location
The Moonlight Blade can be found on Mission 34: Reach the Coral Convergence. It’s tucked away inside a chest under the broken bridge. There are a number of mono-wheel MTs guarding the chest, and they can be tough to en masse.Engage them one at a timeor simply grab the Moonlight Blade from the container and fly away to the next checkpoint.
The broken bridge can be found directly after the first objective involving the two Arquebus ACs. Defeat them, then navigate through the MT-filled streets of the ruined city to reach the bridge. Destroy the mono-wheel that spawns, then gently glide on top of the chest containing the Moonlight Blade.
Players won’t be able to just quit out of the mission once they acquire the Moonlight Blade. They’ll have to fight against the Ibis mech that serves as the mission’s boss. This is a very difficult fight given the enemy’s speed and overwhelming firepower — players should bring either the Pilebunker or Laser Lance weapons to exploit the boss' glaring openings.
Beating Ibis may take several tries but beating it will reward players with a number of parts, including the Moonlight Blade if they’ve picked it up from the chest under the bridge. It’ll be available as a Left Arm part in the Garage’s Assembly screen, and players won’t have to spend a single credit to install it.
The Moonlight Blade works much like the weapon Ibis uses against players. Each swipe with it launches a crescent-shaped projectile that damages the first target hit. Charged attacks with this weapon hit over a very large arc in front of the player, which is capable of devastating multiple targets at once. However, the wind-up of this move is so slow that many enemies will be able to dodge it without much of an issue, including those that have their ACS overloaded.
This behavior is more or less consistent with the Moonlight Greatswordand its many variationsfound throughout FromSoft’s portfolio. A skilled AC pilot will be able to make great use of this weapon’s ranged energy blasts, but there are simply more options out there that are easier to use and are just as devastating.
Armored Core 6is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
