Twitchstreamer narcissawright was once known as aLegend of Zeldaspeedrunner before moving to a variety of content, including Just Chatting and simpleBreath of the Wildstreams. She has been active, in and out, of Twitch since 2014; however, a recent ban has led narcissawright to make various threats to harm herself and others.

In 2014, narcissawright earned theworld record for aLegend of Zelda: Ocarina of Timespeedrun, in a run consisting of 18 minutes and 10 seconds, under the name CosmoWright. She holds/or has held records forThe Wind Waker, Paper Mario, andCastlevania 64. In 2018, narcissawright was banned from Twitch for violating the platform’s nudity and sexual content guidelines, but returned on June 23, 2025.

A couple of days later, on March 21, naracissawright was banned fromTwitch. It seems this was due to the streamer clicking a link, opening content deemed inappropriate by Twitch’s accidental nudity policy. The punishment would be a minor ban consisting of a few days.

However, the streamer followed this ban with a couple of tweets on their personal Twitter account. The first two described the internet and real life as “hell.” In the third tweet, narcissawright wrote “@twitch makes me want to DIE!!!!!” A follow-up tweet then also read, “I want to kill myself and shoot people at the twitch HQ!!! hahahaah!!” As a violation of Twitter’s policies too, narcissawright’s account no longer appears on the social media site.

While this is understandably a cause for concern, many have expressed equal worry for narcissawright’s mental health. It is unfortunate following her return to Twitch, but it is just a couple of days. Many are hoping that narcissawright is okay, and that all of this is resolved peacefully. Understandably, Twitch and Twitter may look into narcissawright’s statements, but a wellness check is hopefully conducted as well.

Beyond just her speedrunning accomplishments, narcissawright has done a lot in the gaming sphere. She has helped run the SpeedRunsLive website, as well as attended various charity events such asAwesome Games Done Quick. She also appeared at EVO 2013 and 2014 as aSuper Smash Bros. Meleeplayer and also attended the Nintendo World Championships in 2014. She placed second overall, receiving aShigeru Miyamoto-signed New Nintendo 3DS XL.

However, this is not narcissawright’s first ban or issue with Twitch. Shortly after Wright came out as a transgender woman and began to transition, she had to temporarily delete her Twitch account due to abuse and online criticism. Indeed, this sort of treatment is still something the platform deals with, as manyTwitch hate raidshave taken place as of late. This doesn’t excuse narcissawright’s posts, but hopefully, the situation is resolved to the best for everyone involved.
