It’s always a beautiful thing when a teaser gets dropped for a promising title. The same can certainly be said forWarner Bros. Montreal’s latest teaserfor its upcomingBatmangame. Fans of theBatmanfranchise are currently speculating on the subject matter of the game, with top theories suggesting the title will revolve around the Court of Owls storyline, a comic book that’s held in high regard within theBatmanethos.
The teaser that was featured on the Warner Bros Montreal Twitter page features a set of five different badges, with each outlining and identifying key characteristics of certainBatmancharacters. With the game being slated as a 2020 release, with compatibility for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, fans are already frothing at the mouth trying to decipher the meaning of this teaser.

Naturally when one thinks of a badge within theBatmanuniverse, typically the first person tocome to mind is Commissioner Gordon, the head of the Gotham City Police Department. But another character within theBatmanethos that works for a government agency is Amanda Waller.
Anyone even remotely familiar withthe Suicide Squad franchisewill remember Amanda Waller as the disagreeable and corrupt director of the squad. Though there has yet to be any official announcement over the meaning of these badges, polls are showing that a wide number of fans are still speculating that the badge undoubtedly points to Waller’s involvement.
As fans clamor for consensus as to the meaning of these teasers, rumors are already circulating en masse around whichcharacters will be featured in this new Warner Bros Montrealgame. When Warner Bros Montreal revealed its first teaser last September, featuring the emblem for the League of Shadows with six empty circles at its teaser, fans weren’t sure what to make of it. But since then two badges have been revealed in a way that implies their respective owners' entanglement with the League.
Many however are convinced that Waller has no involvement, and that the badge detailed on the post is really just for the GCPD. Fans ofBatmanwon’t have any real answer until the Game Developers Conference in March, or when E3 takes place in June, with others looking to thePS5 reveal event for more information.
