Early in 2024, Activision made the popularCall of Duty: Warzonegame available for mobile players. There was a little contention over the launch, as Activision had taken steps to stop players from using tools such as Bluestacks to playCall of Duty: Warzone Mobileon PC. Unfortunately, for many people, this would have been the only way to gain access to the game, as it won’t install on anything but the newest mobile devices.
The mobile version ofWarzonedoes sync with the desktop version though. This means that players who take advantage of cross-play will find their progress and inventory is shared between both versions. All the weapons that players own, including any of the generally available shotguns, will be ready to use on both the desktop and the mobile versions.
When reading this list, keep in mind that weapons, including shotguns, can and do get replaced, phased out, or rotated into the game. For this reason, this list will only cover the permanent shotgun weapons inCall of Duty: WarzoneMobile. It won’t cover special shotguns that are given as event rewards, or for any other one-off reason. These tend to be cosmetic variations anyway.
Classic Hunting Shotgun Design

The Lockwood 300 is a pretty standard side-by-side, double-barreledshotgun. At first glance, it doesn’t look like anything special. However, this shotgun is infamous for dropping opponents from full health to dead by unloading both barrels at close range. It carries 2 shotgun shells loaded, with a further 16 in reserve.
On paper, the Lockwood 300 does medium damage. But the fact that both barrels can be shot in quick succession, is somewhat of a red herring. Reload is very slow, of course, and the effective range is very low. Accuracy, recoil control, mobility and handling are all pretty average.
Standard Pump Action Shotgun
The Bryson 800 is a pretty standard pump action shotgun. The closest real-world equivalent would be something like the popular Mossberg 500. And despite some pretty decent on-paper stats, it is actually overshadowed by several other shotguns inCall of Duty: Warzone Mobile. The Bryson 800 carries 6 shells loaded, with 18 in reserve.
A look at the stats shows that the Bryson 800 has high single-shot damage. But with a slow fire rate and a low effective range, this is a shotgun that players don’t want to miss with. Accuracy, recoil control, mobility and handling are all middle of the road.
A Slight Upgrade Over The 800
The Bryson 890 is a bit of an odd duck. It is an upgrade over the Bryson 800, but not in a way that makes it special. In short, it is just a high-capacity pump action shotgun. It carries 8 shells loaded, over the 6 that the Bryson 800 does. Are those two extra shells worth the additional price? It only carries 16 shells in reserve, as well. It does have very high single-shot damage though.
The numbers show that the Bryson 890 is very similar to the Bryson 800. It is a short-range weapon with a less-than-average rate of fire.Its accuracy, recoil control, mobility and handling are all unremarkable.
A Compact, Slick Semi-Auto Shotgun
The Expedite 12 is a slick-looking beast. It’s a semi-automatic in a compact package smaller than a pump-action shotgun. It doesn’t do as much damage as the two previous pump-action shotguns, but it isn’t far behind. And with a better rate of fire, this gun’s DPS should be higher. The Expedite 12 carries 7 rounds loaded, with 21 in reserve.
The Expedite 12’s on-paper stats paint an interesting story. Accuracy and handling are both average. But recoil control and mobility are significantly better than the two pump action shotguns inCall of Duty: Warzone Mobile. Put together, this makes the Expedite 12 a solid choice for players who like using shotguns.
A Solid Close Quarters Weapon
The KV Broadside is a great shotgun. It is modeled on a well-known brand of assault rifles, with an instantly recognizable forward-curving magazine. It’s a semi-automatic shotgun with a high rate of fire.Single-shotdamage is less than average, but the high rate of fire mitigates this somewhat. It has an 8 shell capacity, with 16 in reserve.
The gun’s accuracy is on the low side, when looking at the stats. However, the KV Broadside has decent recoil control, mobility, and handling for a shotgun. It’s a solid choice for a close-range backup weapon.
The Best Of All Standard Shotguns
The MX Guardian is arguably the best standard shotgun available inCall of Duty: Warzone Mobile. This is a slick-looking, fully automaticmonsterof a shotgun. Its single-shot damage is on the lower side, but it has an incredible rate of fire, making it a perfect shotgun for the spray-and-pray crowd. With a 15 shell load, and 30 shells in reserve, the MX Guardian brings a lot of firepower to the table.
However, keep in mind that both range and accuracy are low for this weapon. Recoil control, handling and mobility are all on the lower side as well. But for players who have problems with accuracy, the MX Guardian with its high rate of fire and decent ammunition capacity could be an excellent choice when playingCall of Duty: Warzone Mobile.
