Reddit user Adamantium_Ballz recently shared a screenshot of a glitched Cal Kestis onr/StarWarsJediSurvivorearlier today, one that makes the Jedi hero look like he is completely made of gold. At least one user in the comment section has compared this gold version ofStar Wars Jedi: Survivor’s Cal to Will Poulter’s take on Adam Warlock fromGuardians of the Galaxy Vol 3. Sure enough, Cal’s metallic gold tone and matching outfit could easily be mistaken for one of the Sovereign, the race of genetically engineered beings who created Adam to get revenge on the Guardians in the MCU.

The third installment of James Gunn’s acclaimedGuardians of the Galaxytrilogy is finally hitting theaters this week, making the glitched Cal’s resemblance to Adam Warlock all the more fitting given his major role in the movie. Adam Warlock has also appeared in Eidos-Montréal’sunder-appreciatedMarvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, which bares a few striking similarities to the latest live-action film and was even praised by James Gunn himself.

Cal Kestis actor Cameron Monaghan already resembles Will Poulter somewhat, so seeingStar Wars Jedi: Survivor’s resident rebel fugitive in a hue similar to Adam Warlock and his Sovereign creators is quite humorous.Jedi: Survivorhas seen plenty of strange glitchessince it launched a few weeks ago, but Golden Cal might just be one of the most bizarre yet.
