Another crossover is coming toBrawlhalla, a free-to-play platformer fighting game that has already seen a wide number of collaborations. TheSuper Smash Bros.-like fighter has a rather dedicated fanbase, complete with a thriving community that holds tournaments, with a chance to earn some pretty big prizes. TheBrawlhallaroster boasts over 50+ characters with some incredibly diverse movesets, some of them being some recognizable gaming icons. The latest crossover will be adding some characters from Capcom’s iconicfighting gamefranchise,Street Fighter.

As mentioned before,Brawlhallais no stranger to crossovers with a variety of intellectual properties. Some of the most recent additions toBrawlhallaincludecharacters from AMC’sThe Walking Dead, Dreamworks’Kung-Fu Pandafranchise, and evenBen 10. With matchups likeThe Walking Dead’s Rick Grimes and Negan taking on Rayman andKung Fu Panda’s Po, the sky is the limit to what character is added next.

The newest trailer is done in a cartoonish-anime style, withBrawlhalla’s Petra seeing a new challenger approach in the opening shot. Her opponent is the wandering warrior, Ryu, rendered in a similar style. His gameplay shows off some of his signature moves fromStreet Fighteradapted toBrawlhalla, including the rising uppercut Shoryuken, the spinning Tatsumaki Senpukyaku kick, and even the Hadouken.

The second character shown off is Chun-Li, comes complete with her signature Spinning Bird Kick and Kikoken projectiles. She also appears to be wielding a staff inBrawlhallaas well. The final character added through this collaboration isStreet Fighter’s villainous Akuma. His moveset includes using the Satsui No Hado to pull off some dark techniques, like the Metsu Hadoken and Tatsumaki Senpukyaku. He even retains his iconic Raging Demon attack in this game as well.

TheStreet Fightercrossover inBrawlhallaalso includes “Street Brawl,” a brand-new game mode. This takesBrawlhallaaway from itsSuper Smash Bros.-inspiredplatformer trappings to more ofStreet Fighter’s traditional 2D gameplay. This includes two health bars at the top of the screen and a certain amount of victories needing to be earned to completely win the match. A brand-new stage based on the Suzaku Castle arena fromStreet Fighterwill also be added to the game through this collaboration and will be available to play starting November 22.
