Guardian Gear inBreath Of The Wildcan only be acquired as drops from Guardian Scouts in Test Of Strength shrines, major, modest, or minor. A corrupted form also appears in Divine Beasts. These shrines differ from the usual - there’s no puzzle element, just pure combat. The difficulty of the trial depends on whether it’s a major or minor test.
Guardian Scouts aresmaller versions of Guardian Stalkers specifically designed for these trials. Guardian Gear is dropped by Guardian Scouts after their defeat. These trials can be very difficult in the early game, but in the late game, they’re a great way to farm Spirit Orbs, which are needed for upgrading Stamina or Heart Containers.
