According to their information,Call of Duty: Modern WarfareSeason 7 will start on Thursday, March 11, and it will coincide with a special event inWarzone. Evidently, theCall of Duty: WarzoneVerdansk map is going to be destroyed by a nuclear bomb, so that should completely change the complexion of the popular battle royale game.

As far asCall of Duty: Modern Warfareitself goes, Season 7 is said to be adding a great deal of new content to the game. This is said to includefan favorite character Soap as a playable Operator, who was leaked for the game months ago. Soap is mentioned in theCall of Duty: Modern Warfarecampaign, but was never seen, so his addition to the game will be a big deal for fans of theModern Warfareseries.
If TheGamingRevolution’s information is accurate,Call of Duty: Modern Warfarefans will be able to battle it out on a variety of new maps. TheCall of Duty 4: Modern Warfaremap Killhouse is said to be one of the maps, along with the completely original Al Raab Airbase. The popularCall of Duty: Modern WarfareGunfight modeis also said to be getting new maps in the form of Drainage and Townhouse.
While players are exploring these new maps inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare, they will be able to utilize a pair of new weapons as well. Thepreviously leaked Sykovand CX-9 SMG will be coming toCall of Duty: Modern Warfareas part of Season 7, according to TheGamingRevolution, with the weapons part ofModern Warfareinstead ofBlack Ops Cold War.
Again, fans should take this information with a massive grain of salt until official word comes from Activision. As it stands, the only confirmed new content coming toCall of Dutyis throughBlack Ops Cold WarSeason 2, set to launch later this week on February 25.
