Yet another bug has surfaced inCall of Duty: Warzone, this one making it impossible for some players to revive their teammates. The bug is related to the players' ability to buyteammates' redeploymentinto the game after they’re defeated, and although it occurs infrequently, it is easily enough to ruin a match for someone.
Unlike some other battle royale games,Call of Duty: Warzonegives players multiple chances to respawn if they are killed. After being downed the first time, the player will enter Gulag, in which they can fight for the right to redeploy. Beyond this, teammates can spend in game money to revive their teammates mid-game.

Unfortunately, when players attempt to revive their teammates with this feature, they are sometimes greeted with an error message claiming that the “selected squadmate is already back in action,” despite them being anything but that.
More than likely the bug is related toCall of Duty: Warzone’s Gulag feature, as it seems that somehow the game registers the player as alive when they aren’t. The issue has been reported by several players over the last couple months, meaning it is an ongoing issue, but the frequency of these reports seems to indicate that it is a very uncommon bug. HopefullyInfinity Ward attempts to locate and fix the bugregardless of its infrequency, as when this bug does occur it can completely effect one’s game experience.
Call of Duty: Warzonemakes players work for redeployments, as the only two methods are to win the Gulag match or to buy a player back. Buying a player back isn’t cheap either, costing $4500 in in-game money. For a player to go through the trouble of surviving long enough to gather that much money for each lost teammate only to be hit with an error message like this would be pretty demoralizing. Some have claimed that having another teammate attempt to buy the redeployment or using a different buy station acts as aworkaround for this bug, but inWarzone, time is not on the players' side and those things are much harder than they sound.
At the moment, there is no indication of when or if the bug will be fixed, and Infinity Ward has yet to comment on it. Hopefully it will be addressed soon, but players will have to wait and see.If this bug is encountered, remember that other buy stations may work.
Call of Duty: Warzoneis available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
