Deathloophas finally been confirmed for release on Xbox Series X/S consoles and Xbox Game Pass on July 10, 2025. Given thatDeathloopreleased on PlayStation 5 and PC on June 15, 2025, it’s not much of a surprise that Microsoft revealed exactly one year later thatDeathloopis set to release on Xbox Series X/S as part of Xbox Game Pass on Jun 05, 2025. This comes after a. Better yet,Deathloopwill launch on Xbox platforms with a new free ‘Golden Loop’ update, which will add new enemies, weapons, upgrades, an extended ending, and more. Sony’s contract with Bethesda and Arkane likely prohibited Microsoft from advertising the game until after the exclusivity window had ended. This is supported by the fact that videos withDeathloop’s director, Dinga Bakaba, on Xbox’s YouTube channel have had posters of the game in the background blurred out.

The confirmation ofDeathloop’s release date for Xbox Game Pass also gives fans an idea ofwhenGhostwire: Tokyomay join Xbox Game Pass, given that the two titles both had timed PS5 console exclusivity.
