ADiablo 4player has perfected a build for the Sorcerer that can allow a player to leave the room while fighting the Butcher without fear of death. Since the launch of the beta forDiablo 4, and even going back toDiablo 2, the Sorcerer has been known as a particularly powerful and versatile class, capable of dishing out incredible damage and surviving the toughest of fights. Indeed, this past summer,aDiablo 4player beat a level 100 dungeon with a level 75 Sorcerer, showing off the class’s capabilities.
Since Blizzard’s latest entry in theDiabloseries launched, fans have been taking advantage of the Sorcerer’s power and perfecting various builds to take on the denizens of Hell. Taking advantage of all the elements the spellcaster can summon, a variety of styles of play have emerged. Some gamers favor blending different forms of magic, while others have chosen to specialize in one in particular. OneDiablo 4player managed to destroy Uber Lilith with a Blizzard Sorcerer build. Now, one fan has found a new build that can handle an enemy as tough as the Butcher with ease.

On YouTube, aDiablo 4player going by Emilyheartz987 has shared a video showcasing their Sorcerer build that’s able to withstand the Butcher for over 20 minutes without even fighting back. In the video, after encountering the Butcher, Emilyheartz987 quickly dispatches all other enemies in the area and then simply tanks the damage of the usually terrifying foe for nearly half an hour. They show such disdain for the Butcher’s efforts that, for some time, they simply stand still and tinker with their skill tree. Throughout the entire video, the character never appears to be in any real danger.
The build appears to make use of lots of skills to increase armor, resistance, and mana, combined with the unique ring, the Melted Heart of Selig, which causes damage to reduce a character’s resource rather than their health. Put together, this creates a Sorcerer that shrugs off damage by shifting it to their mana which simply recharges too fast for enemies to break through.Getting the Melted Heart of Selig inDiablo 4is notably difficult but, with the ring in hand, EmilyHeartz987 has shown that a Sorcerer can be created that is nigh invulnerable.
It seems that, at the moment, the only thing lacking from this build is adequate damage output. While making use of some ofthe bestDiablo 4Sorcerer skillslike Inferno, this class setup just can’t deal out as much damage as it can take. Emilyheartz987 is looking to fix this, however, with the upcoming Tears of Blood Glyph. Fans of the Sorcerer will want to keep an eye on developments here. Once DPS is covered, this may become the ultimateDiablo 4build.
