Summary
Since its establishment in December 2022, the esports organization Disguised, or DSG, has undergone several transformations. For those unaware,Twitchstreamer Jeremy Wang, better known as Disguised Toast, has had a passion for esports for several years now, which eventually led to the birth of the franchise. The 32-year-old was one of the first streamers to build his own esports organization and, as such, fueled by his passion for the competitive gaming scene,Disguised Toast founded DSGas a platform to field aspiring esports athletes.
After nearly a year in the industry, it seems that theTwitchstreamer is determined to fulfill his promise of keeping the organization alive for a minimum of two years. Of course, this resolve is ushering in a few changes. With 2023 drawing to a close, Disguised has presented a progressive game plan for the franchise’s trajectory in 2024.

Disguised Esports Starts a New Chapter
Disguised Esports has seen its fair share of triumphs and hardships over the past few months. However, in June,Disguised Toast shared that he had lost over $1 millionto the esports organization in under a year. Though the two events may not be directly related, on November 15, the official Disguised Twitter account uploaded a short video detailing “a new beginning for Disguised.” In it, he emphasized that he wants “to create this idea that esports should be a passion thing first and a financial thing second.”
DSG is Getting a New Look
The first course of action,as explained by Disguised Toast himself, is a slight rebrand when it comes to the logo and merchandise. While retaining the core color palette that has become synonymous with DSG, the new designs embrace a minimalist aesthetic. The handwritten logo has also been changed from an MS Paint style look to a classier cursive script, though Disguised is keeping the hand-drawn approach.
DSG Plans To Compete in New Esports Titles
Disguised has proven itself to be home to some talented individuals, considering theLeague of Legendsteam was able to win Riot’s NACL 2023 Summer Playoff Championship. As a result, it seems the franchise is planning to expand toApex Legends,Team Fight Tactics, and an undetermined fighting game.Given the success of this formula for otherpopular esports leagues, it’s understandable that Disguised is eager to introduce its own team of esports athletes to compete in these incredibly popular games.

If one counts the existingLeague of LegendsandValorantteams that Disguised already supports, this would bring the organization to a total of five teams. At the moment, the rosters for these teams are still in talks, though more details should be unveiled as 2024 gets closer.
Interestingly, a new member of theTeam Fight Tacticsteam is already causing quite a buzz, as it was confirmed on November 17 that Scarra had officially signed with Disguised. After his decision to become a full-time content creator andco-founder of OfflineTV, this would be Scarra’s first appearance in the competitive esports world since 2016.
DSG is Expanding its Social Media Presence
Though theTwitchstreamer only briefly touched on the topic, it’s been confirmed that the organization is going to start focusing on growing its social media platforms. This sentiment may include being more active on Twitter, but it’s clear Disguised is pushing itself further by establishing channels on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. HowDisguised Toast’s planswill pan out is still to be seen, but the organization’s dedication to the competitive scene is undeniable.
