The charming life simulation gameDisney Dreamlight Valleyis introducing a new physical release called theCozy Edition, complementing the existing digital-onlyFounder’s Pack Editions. The Cozy Edition will be release on multiple platforms including the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox One. The Switch version willinclude a download codeinstead of a game cartridge, and all versions will include the same assortment of both digital and physical goodies.
Gameloft has not confirmed if the physical Cozy Edition release will mark the end of the game’s Early Access stage. Currently, players mustpurchase a digital bundleor the physical Cozy Edition to access the game. Once the game is out of Early Access, it will be free-to-play and players will no longer have to purchase a game bundle in order to download and play.

However, they have reported that this tool will be disabled after Early Access, making it crucial for players to use it now tounlock the exclusive Dreamlight Jerseyclothing before it’s too late. Gameloft’sDisney Dreamlight ValleyAvatar Designer Toolis a PC-exclusive app that lets players design an avatar which can be imported directly intoDisney Dreamlight Valley. Players can download the tool for free via theMicrosoft Store,Epic Games Store, orSteam.
Players who have already purchased a game bundle for the Steam version won’t be able to download the Avatar Designer Tool from Steam. However, it can still be downloaded from the other marketplaces, including the Microsoft Store or Epic Games Store, and used to generate a code which can be redeemed within the Steam version of the game.
The Avatar Designer Tool isnot available on consoles, but players can still use the PC app to generate a code that can be used on their console version of the game, without having to purchase a PC bundle. Players should be aware that the Avatar Designer Tool is incompatible with the Mac operating system.
How to Create an Avatar
After downloading and installing the Avatar Designer Tool, players can use the app to explore anarray of customization options. These options range from basic features like hairstyles and eye color to a wide variety of clothing items. The tool’s version ofDreamlight Valley’sTouch of Magic toolallows even further customization. Any clothing chosen during this process will automatically become available inDisney Dreamlight Valley.
Additionally, players can secure an exclusiveDreamlight Jerseyonly by using the Avatar Designer Tool and importing their created avatar intoDisney Dreamlight Valley. This item does not need to be equipped in the Avatar Designer Tool; it will be automatically unlocked in-game when the avatar is imported.

Generating and Importing an Avatar Code
Once the avatar design is complete, players cancapture photoswith multiple backgrounds and poses. After saving these photos, players can navigate back to the main menu andselect the “Avatar Code” option.
Clicking on the button generates a code that remains valid for 24 hours. This code can then be copied and will be ready for import into the game. If the code expires, the player can open the Avatar Designer Tool and repeat this step to generate a new code. The player can import an avatar only once, but doing so will guarantee the Dreamlight Jersey will be unlocked.
It’s important to note that importing an avatar created in the Avatar Designer Tool will overwrite the player’s existing in-game avatar appearance. Players looking only to unlock the Dreamlight Jersey should consider applying their current appearance to anin-game mannequinso they can easily revert their appearance.

However, these codes expire 24 hours after posted, so players who want to unlock the Dreamlight Jersey but don’t have access to the Avatar Designer Tool will want to check back if they miss Friday’s post.
