With each major update,Disney Dreamlight Valleyadds fun and interesting content, including new characters, quests, furniture, and other enhancements to make living in Dreamlight Valley better than ever. These updates also typically coincide with the release of a new Star Path event,Disney Dreamlight Valley’s version of a “battle pass,” offering players an assortment of special tasks to complete to earn exclusive rewards.

TheEnchanted Adventure Updatenot only introduced a new realm featuring two unlockable characters,Belle and The Beast, but it also marked the start of a new Star Path event. In celebration of the upcoming spooky season, theHaunted Holiday Star Pathfeatures an assortment of rewards inspired by some of Disney’s eeriest entries, includingThe Nightmare Before Christmas,The Haunted Mansion, andhauntingHocus Pocushairstyles.
The tasks this time around are trickier than before, as the wording of most duties offer only clues to their objectives. The duties are still many of the same tasks players will be familiar with, including spending time with villagers as companions, gathering specific materials, or gifting items; they just require a bit of Disney trivia knowledge to decode. This guide details everything players need to know tocomplete the full Haunted Holiday Star Pathandunlock all of its ghastly goodies.
How to Unlock and Participate in the Haunted Holiday Star Path Event
In theHaunted Holiday Star Path, players are tasked with completing an assortment of Duties involving various tasks around Dreamlight Valley. Players canaccess the Star Pathand its menus of duties and rewards by opening the game’s menu and clicking onthe “Event” tab.
Each Star Path featuressix pages of exclusive rewards(seven if the Premium Star Path is unlocked) that can be earned during the event period. Each of these pages offers rewards that can be unlocked through earning anevent-exclusive currency, rewarded from completing the event’s duties. When a player finishes a task, a new duty will become available in its place.
Players on the standard Star Path will have three duties available, while Premium Star Path holders will have six simultaneously unlocked tasks they can choose to complete. Both versions of the Star Path will receive the same number of task lists; having Premium can simply make it easier to complete other tasks in case the player is stuck on any of the three currently available.
The standard Star Path, available to all players at no cost, features18 unlockable rewards. Purchasing the Premium Star Path for2500 Moonstones,DDV’s paid currency, unlocks anadditional 25 Premium-exclusive rewards. Premium rewards typically include more desirable items, including companion pets,Dream Styles, and themed furniture. Premium also grants the player access to six duties at once instead of the standard three, expediting the earning of the event’s currency.

There are numerous ways players can earnfree MoonstonesinDisney Dreamlight Valley, including collecting blue chests that spawn daily in a random biome and participating inDreamSnaps weekly events. The Premium Star Path, once unlocked, also offers Moonstone rewards.
Items from previous Star Paths have not yet returned since their respective events, so players who wish to unlock every reward this Haunted Holiday will have to purchase the Premium Star Path to get their sandy claws on all its spooky spoils.
How to Complete All Haunted Holiday Star Path Tasks
TheHaunted Holiday Star Pathchallenges players to complete up to60 event-specific Dreamlight Dutiesto earn tokens resembling lollipop candies, which are used to unlock unique items found in its Rewards section. A new page of rewards is unlocked after purchasingthree of the previous tier’s itemsusing the special event currency. Aseventh page, exclusive to Premium Star Path holders, offers the player the opportunity to exchange the event currency for Moonstones.

Appropriately, the Haunted Holiday Star Path features an assortment of items based on bone-chilling blockbuster Disney films, iconic Disney Park rides, and a surprising amount ofpirate-themed rewards. The latter are new additions to the game’sPirates of the Caribbeanitem category, perhaps hinting at future content based around the popular attraction.
Players who purchase the Premium Star Path can unlock all items in each tier with the event currency, while players on the standard Star Path will find many rewards featuring a lock icon indicating that they are exclusive to Premium.
