For example, oneElden Ringplayer recently found a clever trickto avoid one of the most annoying traps in the game.
Elden Ring’s combat was praised for its depth and variety, as fans had access to different types of skills and spells to help defeat their foes. These abilities are also useful outside of combat, as some users are now finding interesting ways to simplify various aspects of the game. Now, oneElden Ringplayer has shared a strategy to quickly take down a group of creatures roaming the Lands Between and unlock one of the most useful features in the game.

A Reddit user named zboy02043 shared this clever trick for taking downWalking Mausoleums inElden Ring. Zboy02043 uses the Greyoll’s Roar incantation next to a Walking Mausoleum’s leg to deal damage in a wide area and destroy most of the deposits on its foot. They move to the remaining legs and repeat the process, causing the Walking Mausoleum to go down and open the path to the inner chamber.
Players have to hit the deposits several times to bring them down, and the entire process can take a few minutes. However, this trick shows that users can quickly finish the job using the Greyoll’s Roar incantation. For those unaware,Walking Mausoleums serve a key purpose, as players can enter them to duplicate Remembrances they received after defeatingElden Ring’s major bosses.
TheseRemembrances work similarly to Boss soulsin theDark Soulsgames, as fans can exchange them at the Roundtable Hold to obtain the bosses’ weapons or spells. They have to choose between one of two options, so taking down a Walking Mausoleum helps greatly in acquiring both items. It should be noted that players can even utilize the duplication feature on a Remembrance they have already used.
Like the other FromSoftware games,Elden Ringdoesn’t spell out all of its gameplay mechanicsand allows fans to discover them on their own. So, some users in the comments section are surprised to see that it’s possible to take down a Walking Mausoleum in the first place.
