One fan has celebrated the new announcement ofAssassin’s Creed Valhallaby creating an art piece that mashes the game with theMCU’sThor. In typical Viking fashion, the art sees the two main characters of each series launching at each other with the intent of locking in mortal combat.
SinceAssassin’s Creed Valhallais still only a few days old: the other guy depicted in the picture with Thor is Eivor. He’s aViking that doubles as an assassin, and he’ll be the character that players take control of in the new game. Players will be able to choose a female version of the character as well.

The image of Thor comes from a movie poster ofThor: The Dark World, the second film in Thor’s soon-to-be Quadrilogy. Here, in this picture, Ultraraw 26 mirrored Thor to face the opposite direction, and then edited him to look more like hisThor: Ragnarokincarnation by filling his eyes with the same lightning he commands.
As for Eivor, he comes from a piece ofValhallaartworkthat sees him leading a charge against England’s forces. Nothing much was done differently with him. He was only cut out of the image and tilted so that it looks like he’s springing up to meet Thor. Thor was also slightly tilted so that it looks like he’s falling into Eivor.

While the cut together picture presents an extremely cool visual, it’s hard not to think about how one-sided a fight like this would end up being. Eivor might be a Viking with assassin training, but Thor is an actual god, one that once tanked a concentrated blast from a dying star. It’s just not at all fair.
Its possible Eivor will pull off some spectacular and noteworthy feats of his own whenAssassin’s Creed Valhallarolls around. But it’s improbable they’ll put him anywhere close to the son of the god he worshipers. On an offtopic note, Kratos fromGod of Warversus Thor would probably be something to behold.
Assassin’s Creed Valhallareleases Holiday 2020 for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
