For longtime fans, Friendships remain true to form inMortal Kombat 11as they allow players who win a match to do something nice for their opponent than killing them in outrageous ways. NetherRealm has already revealed four of them in advance of the free update and here’s each one.

As revealed on social media, Kano’s friendship involves him cooking on the ‘barbie’ with plenty of delicious meats. He dons a chefs hat and uses his eye laser to light the grill. During the animation he also turns over the sausages, smells the cooking food, and generally seems pleased with how the food is turning out.
Scorpion
As seen at thevery end of the Aftermath trailer, Scorpion flings his spear at the other end of the screen, but instead of pulling an enemy back, it’s a huge teddy bear. Pulling the stuffed bear back, Scorpion proceeds to give it a big hug as a satisfying grin forms on the face of the original yellow ninja.
Sub-Zero
The Ice Cream Man cometh. After winning his match, an excited Sub-Zero,dressed in his Shredder outfitno less, runs off screen and rides in on a mobile ice cream bike complete with classic ice cream truck jingles. As he parks, Sub-Zero opens the cooler and pulls out a wooden stick and uses his Cryomancy abilities to form a popsicle. The cart is also decked out in funMortal Kombatchibi stickers and a menu flag with available ice cream options like a fruit pop, chocolate bar, as well as 1 or 2 scoops of ice cream.
Noob Saibot
Thefan favorite black ninjasplits into three for his friendship. The three all point at each other as the two ninja’s on the end start turning a big jump rope for Noob. As the Friendship balloons fall and the music kicks in, Noob starts performing all sorts of crazy tricks while jumping including backflips, dance moves, and more.
Kung Lao
Nintendo was given the honors for revealing the next Friendship. Kung Lao uses his hat teleport to warp back with an old wooden train set which he proceeds to push around his hat while laying on the ground looking like he’s really enjoying himself. As the text says, he choo-choo-chooses you.
