F-Zero Xwas one of the best racing games on the Nintendo 64. Fans and newcomers will soon be able to playF-Zero Xon the Switch in two days through a Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack membership.
Nintendo released a trailer showing offF-Zero X’s epic tracks as the characters in the game raced, and crashed, into each other. Captain Falcon, who is the most popular character in the series as he has been a playable character inSuper Smash Bros., won a race at the end of the trailer.

Switch owners will be able to playF-Zero Xon March 11 if they have a Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack membership. Nintendo Switch Online is a subscription service that has been around for a few years now, with the Expansion Pack being added a few months ago. The Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack allows gamers to get more content in popular Nintendo games, such asAnimal Crossing: New HorizonsandMario Kart 8 Deluxe, and play games that originally released on the Sega Genesis and Nintendo 64 on their Switch.
When the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack was first announced, gamers weren’t happy due to how expensive it is, being $49.99 each year, compared to the standard membership, which is $19.99 each year. However, with the Expansion Pack adding more content as the months have passed since it launched, gamers are beginning to see the value of it, with fans ofF-Zero Xbeing especially excited at the moment. Many of them also hope that a newF-Zerogame will release on the Switch.
ManyF-Zerofans feel that the series doesn’t get as much recognition and praise as it deserves from Nintendo.The lastF-ZerogamewasF-Zero Climax, which released on the Game Boy Advance in 2004. Hopefully Nintendo will realize how thrilled fans are thatF-Zero Xis going to be playable on the Switch in two days and decide to revive the series.
As for now, players will have to settle for experiencing one of the most popular games in the series in a brand-new way as they can now take it wherever they go. This release will hopefully also encourage those that have beenskeptical of the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack to give it a chance.
