Summary
AFallout 4player has built an impressive automated basketball system that allows them to rack up Nuka-Cade tickets. There are many ways thatFallout 4players can get the Eyes on the Prize Nuka-Cade achievement, but this may be the most impressive.
TheFallout 4base edition included 50 Achievements ranging from leaving Vault 111 to reaching level 50. These Achievements vary in difficulty, and completing the full list may take a while. TheFallout 4Automatron DLCalso added five more Achievements, while the Contraptions, Vault-Tec, and Wasteland Workshops each offered three, and Far Harbor and Nuka-World had 10. With the game being fully complete and all the DLC released, some players are returning to 100% the game. One gamer had a unique idea to acquire Nuka-Cade tickets for the elusive Eyes on the Prize Achievement.

Reddit user MentallyMistaken recently shared a clip highlighting their automatedFallout 4Hoop Shot system. The video begins with the player crouching next to an arcade machine to acquire some Nuka-Cade tickets as basketballs drop onto a conveyor belt before they’re lifted to a higher conveyor belt that drops the basketballs into the hoop. The gamer then shows the same process working on seven more arcade machines. The tickets they loot range in quantity from 198 to 207. Although the Reddit user suggested this is an inconvenient way to get these tickets due to crashing and corrupted saves, they’re using this system to finish the Eyes on the PrizeFallout 4Achievement.
What Other Ways Can Players Get Nuka-Cade Tickets?
Nuka-Cade tickets can be acquired in many ways, most notably by exploring Nuka-World from the similarly named DLC. Players can get single tickets by looting different areas of Nuka-World. Stacks of tickets are found in the Fun House, King Cola’s Castle, and Dry Rock Gulch Theater. Ticket Rolls can yield up to 1,000 tickets and these are located at Starport Nuka, RobCo Battlezone, and Safari Adventure. Setting up MentallyMistaken’s automated system will require piles ofFallout 4settlement resourceslike Circuitry and Steel. The automation may allow players to continue their adventures while accumulating tickets at one of their settlements but it may risk crashing the game.
Though settlements have been a prominent feature since the game was released, farms like this are a rarity. As this player highlighted their automated system, others with the necessary resources can replicate their creation. WhileFallout 4received a hearty next-gen patch, it’s unclear if any further settlement content will be added. WithBethesda confirmingFallout 5is being developed, this installment may not get any more attention.
