Summary
AFallout 4player has highlighted their complete magazine collection which seemingly took a while to compile. There are 131 magazines inFallout 4, with ten coming from the Far Harbor and Nuka-World DLC, and this player has displayed their full collection in a Settlement.
There are tons ofFallout 4magazines to discover around Bethesda’s open-world Boston. While the in-game Boston is post-apocalyptic, the magazines provide an idea of what the citizens may have been reading when nuclear war broke out. Among the in-game reading material are Grognak the Barbarian, Guns and Bullets, and Wasteland Survival Guide. Beyond the lore implications, these magazines can also be beneficial to the player. Some magazines will unlock new cosmetics like a paint job forFallout 4Power Armoror a new hairstyle, while others give stat boosts. Opting to display the magazines that aren’t being used, this player has made shelves dedicated to the complete stockpile.

Reddit user AnHeroicHippo99 recently shared eightFallout 4screenshots highlighting their finished magazine collection. One rack includes the Grognak the Barbarian and U.S. Covert Operations Manual magazines, Guns and Bullets shares a shelf with Tesla, and Unstoppables completes the Astoundingly Awesome Tales shelf. The magazine collection also includes theFallout 4DLCsets, with SCAV coming from Nuka-World and the Islander’s Almanac being obtained in Far Harbor. In total, the magazines are spread out across seven shelves, and they highlight what pre-war store shelves may have looked like.
According to AnHeroicHippo99, they followed a guide to locate each magazine. The guide made spotting the harder-to-find ones easier and can be used byFallout 4players that may not know which magazines they’re missing. AnHeroicHippo99 stated that their favorite magazines are Astoundingly Awesome Tales and any that give bonuses toFallout 4’s Sneak ability. AnHeroicHippo99 stated that having a high Sneak skill with all the skill-related magazines can allow players to bump into enemies without alerting them. Though the magazines have been left on display in aFallout 4settlement, it’s currently unclear if NPCs will interact with them as they do with other items.
SomeFallout 4mods add even more magazines to the Bethesda game which can allow players like AnHeroicHippo99 to continue searching for the items beyond the base set. Although this magazine collection appears to have been legitimately obtained,Fallout 4console commandsand mods can also be used to obtain them.
Fallout 4is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
