Fallout 76is an extremely fun version of theFalloutfranchise as an online game. The game follows a Vault Dweller from Vault 76 as they exit from the Vault and begin their adventures in West Virginia, the heart of Appalachia. The region has been ravished by the fallout and the Great War from 25 years earlier, making it difficult for the character.
One place that has experienced a lot of issues in Appalachia is Kerwood Mine. Even before the Great War, the mine was barely staying open and dealt with a lot of issues. Now, the mine is full of Mole Rats, Mole Miners, and even the Scorched. Here’s a guide to finding this place and everything to expect once actually making it inside the mine.

What Is Kerwood Mine In Fallout 76?
Kerwood Mine is an area in the game that players may need to enter for various quests or to hunt for specific items (such as Brain Fungus). Players will be able to find the Hidden Valuables (required items for the Supplying Demands quest). Additionally, the mine has several different Power Armor Chassis that can potentially spawn and be found throughout it. There are also four known Vault-Tec Bobbleheads and magazines that can spawn in the mine, meaning players will want to see if they can find them anywhere.
For players needing Fusion Cores, one can be found in a Fusion Generation that is located near the entrance of the mine. There can potentially be another one that spawns, though it is not guaranteed. Finally, players will be able to obtain Miner Uniforms and Miner Hats while exploring the area. While exploring this mine, be sure to check out everywhere, as a lot of the items can spawn randomly in areas that aren’t underwater, leaving a lot of places that need to be explored.

Kerwood Mine Location
Kerwood Mine is located within theCranberry Bog region of Appalachia. It is found to the northwest of Watoga (a decently sized city) and to the east of the West Tek Research Center. Additionally, players can find it by going west of The General’s Steakhouse or southwest ofCamp Venture. Players will know they are there when they begin to see mining carts and signs that mention that the mine is dangerous and abandoned. The entrance to the mine can be found back against the hillside of the area and is a wooden door.
