Final Fantasy 16is the newest installment in Square Enix’s popular franchise. The game is visually stunning, and it’s all due to the hard work of the team working on it. InFinal Fantasy 16, players takecontrol of Clive Rosfield, the First Shield of Rosaria. Clive’s journey is filled with various perils, which he must overcome at all costs.
He often finds himself in troublesome situations, and players must rely on their skills to deal with them. They will have access to certain abilities that will make things easier. However, these abilities have to be unlocked, and for that, players will have to get their hands on ability points.

How To Get Ability Points
Ability points are denoted by a blue sphere inside a quadrilateral.Players can get ability points in Final Fantasy 16 after defeating enemies. While facing a group of regular enemies, a small text box will appear on the right-hand side of the screen only after the final foe has been slain. The confirmation message shows the number of ability points, experience, and Gil earned.
Following the victory against animportant enemy such as the Morbolor the Knight of the Blinding Dawn, the results are displayed on a separate screen. The spoils screen shows rewards such as items, gear, ability points, and experience. It makes it easier for players to see what they have gained and whether they have any use for it.
How To Use Ability Points
After accumulating enough ability points, players can spend them toimprove Clive’s combat skills. All they need to do is hit the Pause button and press the R2 button until they reach the Abilities tab. The abilities tab has a red-colored wheel, and it consists of various locked and unlocked skills.
Players should read the description of each ability before making a decision, which can be done by pushing the Triangle button. In the picture below, players can see that each ability has different effects. Some are focused on damage output, while others work better forbreaking a target’s will gauge. Once they have made up their mind,Final Fantasy 16players need to move the cursor over to the desired ability and press and hold the X button to successfully unlock a new ability for Clive.
In the event that players do not like their build for Clive, they can reset it by holding the touchpad. If they wish to reset just a single ability, it can be achieved by dragging the cursor to it and holding the Square button. Players who cannot make a choice can opt to see the recommended abilities for Clive by pressing the L3 button. However, most players will want to go with the abilities that they like the most.
