Fortnite’s v20.00 hotfix update officially adds Zero Build Mode to the game. This new dedicated mode allows players to play in Solo, Duos, Trios, and Squads without the ability to build, something a sizable portion ofFortnite’s player base has stated they prefer. Players will retain the recharging overshield in Zero Build Mode to compensate for the lack of defense building provides. However, both regular and Zero Build Modes will have the new traversal abilities like sprinting and mantling.Fortnitereleased a trailer showcasing its new mode’s intense weapon-focused gameplay.

In addition to adding Zero Build Mode,Fortnite’s latest updates adds a new weapon: the Anvil Rocket Launcher. Similar to the Heavy Turret found on thefully-funded Armored Battle Bus, the Anvil Rocket Launcher is designed as an anti-vehicle weapon. The new portable weapon features a scope, which players can use to lock onto vehicles like the IO Titan Tanks. Once the target is locked, firing a rocket inflicts devastating damage to anything caught in the explosion. Anvil Rocket Launchers can be found n regular and rare chests, in Seven and IO Chests, in Supply Drops, and from sharks.

The v20.00 hotfix also reveals the next round of items to be unvaulted on the island.Fortniteplayers have the choice between the MK-Seven Assault Rifle or Combat Assault Rifle. Whilethe MK-Seven’s damage may have been reducedlast season, the Combat Assault Rifle has changed as well. Rather than staying at one strength, the AR now ramps up its strong recoil, meaning players will need to account for it gradually. Both assault rifles will be available on the island from Saturday, April 2, at 4 AM ET to Monday, April 4 at 11:59 PM ET.

The addition of the dedicated Zero Build Mode is sure to please allFortnitefans, whether they prefer builds or not. WhileFortnite’s latest Battle Pass once again features Marvel characters, some different IPs might be dropping into the island. According to a recent leak,Eivor fromAssassin’s Creed Valhallais coming to the game.
