The collaborations contribute to the game’s massive player base by constantly introducing fresh and intriguing content, that can attract new players who otherwise might not have been interested in the battle royale game. It is possible that these skins will release concurrently with theResident Evil 4remake, which is scheduled to release on March 24. It is not yet known if theseFortnitexResident Evilskins will be unlocked through the in-game item shop, or via a set of challenges like in the lastWitchercollab event, where players couldunlock Geralt of Riviaby completing a series of fun quests, as long as they had bought that Season’s Battle Pass.

While another collaboration withResident Evilcould be a great way to bring two popular franchises together while also creating new and exciting content forFortnite, the long-awaited release of the game’s Chapter 4 Season 2 will also feature another epic crossover with the acclaimedAttack on Titananime, asplayers will be able to unlock the skin of Eren Yeager, the protagonist of the series. It is clear thatFortnite’s continuing collaborations are significantly important for a free-to-play game that depends on microtransactions for income.
