The performance of eachGenshin Impactcharacter relies heavily on the weapon and artifact set they pick. Apart from the Attack Damage stat, each weapon in the game has a unique secondary stat and passive.
However, artifacts can be just as important but acquiring the right set can be cumbersome to say the least. The upcomingGenshin Impactupdate 2.6 will bring two new artifact sets alongside a DPS sword.

The officialGenshin ImpactTwitter account has revealed more information about the upcoming weapons and artifact sets. The new sword is called Haran Geppaku Futsu, and it will serve as a signature weapon for thenew character named Kamisato Ayato. The sword will have the following stats:
The weapon’s secondary stat increases Crit Rate up to 33.1% which means that it will be a great fit for mostGenshin ImpactDPS characters. Ayato’s ascension stat will be Crit Damage and this weapon will probably be the best choice for his build. The new Echoes of an Offering artifact set will probably be the go-to choice for Ayato thanks to its four-piece set bonus which can increase Normal Attack damage by 60%.
The Vermillion Hereafter set is made for DPS characters who are only effective when they are on the field like Xiao, Razor, and Arataki Itto. Multiple leaks have revealed that the five-star Geo character, Arataki Itto could receive a banner re-run alongside therecently announcedGenshin Impactcharacter - Yelan. Razor could be a part of the four-star squad considering that his last appearance was back in July 2021.
The livestream event forGenshin ImpactVersion 2.6has confirmed the three characters that will be obtainable on the limited banners. Those characters include Kamisato Ayato, the Anemo Archon Venti, and Ayato’s sister Ayaka. The first two characters will appear on the upcoming banner while Ayaka is scheduled to arrive in the second part of the update. Despite multiple rumors claiming that Ayaka could be joined by Albedo on a double banner, it seems like she will be the only five-star character on the second banner cycle.
Genshin Impactis available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development with no confirmed release date.
