The Spiral Abyss domain consists of 12 levels, also known as floors, that feature multiple chambers. Each chamber has enemy waves that players need to beat within a certain time frame to collect precious rewards, including Primogems. A newGenshin Impactleakhas revealed that HoYoverse will add a new type of Spiral Abyss that will contain eight floors, and completing them will grant 600 Primogems. Adding a new Abyss will allow players to acquire a sizable amount of free Primogems that can be used to pull for their favorite characters. However, some comments have pointed out that the new domain could alternate with the current Abyss every 15 days, which would not come as a surprise considering thatGenshin Impact’s current Spiral Abyssresets on the 1st and 16th of each month.

This may be another indication that the new piece of content could be just another alternate Spiral Abyss domain similar to howHonkai: Star Railrotates the Pure Fiction and Memory of Chaos domains, meaning that Travelers won’t get any additional free Primogems.
Recent rumors have also revealed that update 4.7 may introduce three new playable characters: Clorinde, Sigewinne, and Sethos.
