Since its launch in 2020, Hoyoverse’s action role-playing gameGenshin Impacthas added more areas to explore, storylines to go through, and characters for players to include in their party. The title has so many places to visit already, yet players likely still encounter the same types ofGenshin Impactenemies and monsterssuch as Hilichurls and Slimes. Recently, a fan ofGenshin Impactcreated a very realistic artwork that depicted a Large Hydro Slime in its normal watery habitat.
Hoyoverse has definitely kept itsGenshin Impactplayers very busy. The new 2.7 version update is coming by the end of May 2022, and the patch will bring in a new five-star character banner as well as major story content titled “Perilous Trail.” In the upcoming banner, players will be able to pull for newfive-star Hydro bow user Yelan, a character thatGenshin Impacthas been teasing since March 2022. Other characters included in the coming banner are Xiao, Yanfei, Barbara, and Noelle.

Showing off theirincredibleGenshin Impactfan art, user HuflPuffrFish9 posted their Large Hydro Slime piece on the game’s subReddit. In the image, an incredibly realistic forest and water cave scene is shown, and most viewers will likely think it looks like it was a photograph of real life. However, players of the action-RPG will probably spot and recognize the Large Hydro Slime seemingly coming out of the water. The minute details, such as the Small Lamp Grass found inGenshin Impact, also show that the image really is a fan art piece, and not a real-life photograph.
Many replies on the thread hilariously showedhow vengeful someGenshin Impactplayers can be. Commenters said that they felt like they wanted to shoot the Large Hydro Slime if they ever saw it. Others shared that seeing the monster in real life will likely be a scary experience, given how dangerous Slimes can be in the game when left unchecked. One user asked if Redditor HuflPuffrFish9 would be making their art a series, indicating that they would like to see moreGenshin ImpactSlime wallpapers such as this. The artist replied that they seem interested in doing so. Fellow fans even took notice of the HuflPuffrFish9’s addition of the Small Lamp Grass, stating that it was a nice touch.
