As ofGenshin Impact2.8, the long-awaited rerun banner for Kaedehara Kazuha is finally here, along Klee’s rerun banner. Additionally, Kazuha’s Story Quest, Acer Palmatum Chapter, is released, allowing players to find out what happened to the Wanderer Samurai after the last events of the Vision Hunt Decree. To unlock Kazuha’s Story Quest, Travelers must complete Chapter II: Act III - Omnipresence Over Mortals Archon Quest and the Imperatrix Umbrosa Chapter: Act I - Reflections of Mortality Story Quest.

Other than the normal rewardsGenshin Impactplayers receive from the usual Story Quests, they will also get a new 4-Star Sword that will work perfectly with Kaedehara Kazuha if played as a DPS.
Kaedehara Kazuha’s chapter is divided into three Sub-Quests.
Upon The Plain, A Purple Shadow Sub-Quest
The chapter starts with Traveler and Paimon walking around before being stopped by a Mysterious Samurai who immediately attacks. After beating him,he asks about Kaedehara Kazuha’swhereabouts, with the Traveler refusing to reply.
After the samurai leaves, the duo returns to Ritou and asks one of The Crux crew members about Kazuha. Chao says that the Wandering Samurai was escorted by the Tenryou Commission because they have important questions.
Upon arriving at the marked location, players will have a conversation with both Kujou Kamaji andKaedehara Kazuha inGenshin Impact. In Short, Kujou wishes to perform an action of goodwill towards Kazuha on behalf of the Almighty Shogun and even promises him to restore the Kaedehara Clan honor.
However, before giving an answer, Kazuha hears about the Mysterious Samurai from the Traveler and goes to investigate with them, promising to give the offer some thoughts.
Through The Mist, A Name Unveiled Sub-Quest
After some time, the group arrives at the Detective Agency and asks Ryuuji about any weird incidents. He remembers after a while that a few days ago two people went missing at the same time, Nagato and Amenoma Yuuya.
The group then visits Amenoma Smithy to ask Amenoma Tougo some questions, as Yuuya is his nephew.Kazuha and Tougo chat for a bitabout the past and how Isshin Art aims for complete harmony between blade and mind and how an Isshin Blade is one to choose its owner.
Kazuha then asks about Yuuya and Tougo answers regretfully that his nephew told him he’ll bring a splendid gift on the day of his disappearance, only to never return.
Next, players travel to Nagato’s residence, and Kazuha chats with his wife. After the questioning, the group concludes Nagato is a collector who bought too much stuff to the point his wife wanted a divorce. When he decided to sell some items, the house he met up with the buyer in caught fire, and he has been missing ever since.
The party travels to the incident location to investigate and Kazuha smells some sort of ailment in the air that resembles Tatarigami. After following the scent and killing the Hilichurl, the group finds a letter on the ground From Nagato that the buyer, Yuuya, attacked him and ran away with the sword, and he is badly wounded somewhere nearby.

Next,all theGenshin Impactcharactershead to a nearby island only to be ambushed by Yuuya, who’s actually being manipulated by the Prized Isshin Blade. The weapon then tells his story and attacks players to possess Kazuha’s mind.
The Wandering Samurai strikes a deal with the Prized Isshin Blade that he’ll test his strength. If the blade loses the vessel, Yuuya shall be released.
Ere The End, A Glance Back Sub-Quest
Upon arriving at Takatsukasa Clan abandoned secret camp, players get the chance to finish the domain using only Kaedehara Kazuha. When testing the blade, there are several waves of Nobushis.
With each hit, the blade grows weaker, dimmer, and Kazuha remarks that it could never beat Raiden Shogun in this condition. Close to giving up, the weapon begs Kazuha to help him one last time.

The Prized Isshin Blade will free Amenoma Yuuya and both him and Kazuha will have a final duel to fulfill its creator’s last wish.
After defeating Yuuya, the blade finally can rest and request to visit Amenoma Smithy before going away. There, the party tells Tougo what happened, and the latter says that Ryuuji from the Detective Agency has found Mr. Nagato.
The Isshin Blade then requests to control Kazuha’s body to reforge himself and the Wandering Samurai agrees.
When the cutscene ends, the blade is back to its former glory, revealing its name to beKagotsurube Isshin.
The Genshin Impact’s Story Quest endswith Kazuha refusing Kujou Kamaji’s offer and setting out on another adventure with the blade. Players will get 60 Primogems and a 4-Star sword, the Kagotsurube Isshin.
