Leaks have claimed that Grand Master Varka of Mondstadt’s Knights of Favonius may finally make his debut, after being referenced heavily in the story of the first region. Each ofGenshin Impact’s past regions are also rumored to see a new character added to the game, including a mummy girl from Sumeru among others. Now, fresh leaks are claiming three new Adeptus characters from Liyue are coming soon.

A recent update shared by prominentGenshin Impactleaker Tao via Uncle A has revealed thatCloud Retainer, Madame Ping, and Guizhongwill all become playable within the game. While the three Adepti had previously been rumored to become playable, the new update reportedly hard confirms their impending debut within the roster. Cloud Retainer andMadame Ping both play major roleswithin the story of the Liyue region, while Guizhong has been heavily referenced throughout the game’s story and events. A release window was not given for any of the three characters.
The addition of the Liyue’s newest characters come as Cloud Retainer, in particular, has often been rumored to become playable in the game.Cloud Retainer has seen teasers of her human formthrough the “Exquisite Night Chimes” event duringGenshin Impact’s Version 3.4, playing a major role in the annual Lantern Rite event. Madame Ping has also been rumored to appear in a younger form, with fans already familiar with the old Adeptus who rewards players with the Serenitea Pot. Guizhong’s debut would be her first in-game appearance outside animated cutscenes.
Rumors about impending additions toGenshin Impact’s cast suggest the game’s roster will grow substantially throughout the coming patches.
