Following the introduction ofGenshin Impact’sSerenitea Pot feature, players created elaborate homes to call their own. One player decided to take on a unique challenge in the Serenitea Pot, taking inspiration from the belovedGenshin Impactcharacter Beidou. The creation was posted on Reddit for fellow users in the community to discuss.
Many versions ago, miHoYo introduced theSerenitea Pot intoGenshin Impact.As the name suggests, the feature allows players to create homes within a pocket realm confined in a divine teapot. The teapot is awarded following the completion of the “A Teapot to Call Home” world quest. After completing a major portion of the Liyue story arc, the world quest becomes available from Madame Ping in Liyue Harbor.

Reddit user u/HEB_AQW built an impressive pirate ship within the Serenitea Pot’s Cool Isle realm layout. The user takesGenshin Impactcharacter Beidouon a tour of the pirate ship, which was modeled after a variety of ships found in Liyue and Inazuma. Beidou climbs onto the ship and explores the deck before moving down to the ship’s cabin. Towards the end of the user’s gameplay clip, Beidou climbs up the ship’s main mast to showcase the height of the massive creation.
The pirate ship was built using the popular clipping method, which involves shaking objects until the placement border hue turns blue. Once the placement border hue turns blue,Genshin Impactplayers may negate placement restrictions and place objects virtually anywhere within the Serenitea Pot. For example, the creation of the pirate ship involved various wooden walls being stacked vertically using the clipping method. These walls would make up the hull and keel of the pirate ship.
The ship cannot set sail due to in-game limitations, but it’s still a sight to behold. Many Reddit users commend u/HEB_AQW for creating the massive ship and defying limits placed by miHoYo. In fact, the Reddit post received roughly 7,300 upvotes with a stellar 98% upvote ratio. u/HEB_AQW’s creation is already among one of the most popular in the entireGenshin Impactcommunity on Redditwith well-deserved praise.
The development team at miHoYo should allowGenshin Impactfans to continue taking advantage of the clipping method. The Serenitea Pot is a creative avenue for fans as they wait for the next version ofGenshin Impact. Thecommunity’s excitement forGenshin Impactversion 2.8 keeps building into July 2022, the planned release window for the new update.
