Halo Infinite’s sandbox gives players many avenues for raking up kills, from its satisfying power weapons to its array of dominant vehicles. OneHalo Infiniteplayer has shown just what is possible when properly utilizing one of the game’s vehicles, bringing in a whopping 77 kills and only 2 deaths.

The balance between weapons, vehicles, and physics has always been pivotal to theHalomultiplayer experience, and is especially on display inHalo Infinite. For instance, a powerful vehicle like a Scorpion tank can be shut down by a couple SPNKR rockets or Skewer spikes, but anadept player with a Repulsorcan return those projectiles to their sender if the equipment is used properly. Obviously, some weapons and tactics are stronger than others, though, meaning certain players can definitely dominate a game if they know the strategies. This can lead to problems in objective-based game modes, however, where players pursue kills rather than taking the flag.

Andrew_hihi shared to Reddit an incredible 77 kill, 2 death game inHalo Infinite. The post titled “I will never top this in my life,” is currently sitting at over 17,000 upvotes and a multitude of Reddit awards from other users. This dominating performance from andrew_hihi was in a match of Big Team Battle: Capture the Flag on Highpower, their team winning the game 2-0 (despite a bug on the postgame report showing otherwise). They earned all ofHalo InfiniteKilling Spree Mythic Medals, including the coveted “Demon” medal, which can only be attained by killing 40 enemies without dying.

The obvious question is how andrew_hihi possibly achieved these statistics, and fortunately, a recording of the whole match was put in the comments of the original post. Games on Highpower typically receive Wasp spawns,Halo Infinite’s player-controlled UNSC aircraft, and by incorporating a variety of fly and gun tactics, the enemy team could not take them down, andrew_hihi killing or assisting on nearly 100 of their team’s kills. With the aerial control by andrew_hihi, and a surprising lack of resistance from the enemy team, with practically noShock Rifleor Skewer pressure on them, andrew_hihi could get some kills, fly away to regroup, and repeat.

Some in the replies of andrew_hihi’s post try belittling the impresive stat line, their apparent focus being on kills and not the objective. One of the mods of theHalosubreddit, eminemcrony, chimes in on the subject in the comments, stating, “Also, you absolutely can help your team get the objective and win without directly playing the objective. (…) Do you want him to get out of theWasp to capture the flag? At some point that’s on the other team not killing him and his team not pushing up to get the flag.” Andrew_hihi’s constant pressure enabled their team to succeed, and it’s surprising how not many players tried to take them down.

Halo Infiniteis available now on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
