Sony’s Play At Home Initiative has brought players a lot of free games, includingRatchet and Clank, Subnautica, Abzu, Rez Infinite, Enter the Gungeon,and more. Today, the promotion is offering its biggest title yet, with players able to downloadHorizon Zero Dawn Complete Editionfree of charge this evening.
According to a post on the PlayStation Blog, players in the United States will be able to access their free copy ofHorizonat 8:00 PM PT. Meanwhile, those in the UK and Europe can expect to get their hands on the title tomorrow, with it becoming available at 4:00 AM BST/ 5:00 AM CEST. The offer will be open to all PlayStation users regardless of whether or not they ownPlayStation Plus, and will be claimable until May 14.

Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Editioncomes loaded with the base game andThe Frozen Wildsexpansion, which adds several hours of gameplay to the experience as well as a brand new area to explore, enemies to battle, and gear to collect. Its arrival also marks the imminent removal ofthe current Play At Home Initiative free game lineup. However, players still have a few days to capitalize on the offer, as the 10 titles currently available will be removed at 8:00 PM PT on April 22.
For those who never got around to playingHorizon Zero Dawnback in 2017, it takes place in a fantasy world overrun by mechanical dinosaurs. The player assumes the role of Aloy: an outcast who ventures out on a quest to track down and defeat a mysterious cult and learn more about her cryptic past. At release,Horizonwas lorded for its premise, world, and combat, which focuses on slaying robotic dinosaurs using an array of equipment. Players will have to rely on bows and arrows, spears, and well-placed traps to bring down their colossal foes, the likes of which range from nimble velociraptor-like robots to towering, T-Rex-inspired machines.
It’s a great time to offerHorizonconsidering it’ll receive a highly-anticipated follow-up later this year, withHorizon Forbidden Westseeing Aloy return in a new adventure on the PlayStation 5. Although little is currently known about the title, it looks to offer expansive environments and more robotic dinosaur enemies, as well as a continuation of the first game’s story.
