WWE 2K24is the latest installment in the long-standing wrestling video game series by 2K Sports, which comes on the eve of the 40th anniversary of WWE’s biggest event of the year, Wrestlemania. To celebrate the milestone,WWE 2K24features a number of iconic matches from the archives of Wrestlemania so players can relive some of the most memorable moments in the event’s history.
The first match in theWWE 2K24Wrestlemania Showcase is the Intercontinental Championship match between reigning champion “Macho Man” Randy Savage and Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat. Players who are looking tocomplete this challenge to 100% and earn the rewardsassociated with it will benefit from taking note of the match’s objectives.
WWE 2K24 Dragon’s Roar Objectives (Match 1)
The first match in the Wrestlemania showcase includes14 objectivesfor you tocomplete as WWE legendRicky “The Dragon” Steamboat. In this match, Steamboat attempts to dethrone the long-reigning Intercontinental Champion “Macho Man” Randy Savage and get revenge for a career-threatening attack Savage previously inflicted on him. To complete the match to 100%, you will need to fulfill the following requirements:

You can’t get too aggressive in there! Dodge, Reverse, Block or Break 3 of Macho Man’s attacks in the ring!
Press the Triangle/Y button to counter Savage’s attacks or hold the same button to block.
Taunt Macho Man while you’re both in the ring or on the apron!
Press the left, up, or right button on the d-pad. Ensure you allow time to complete the taunt before your opponent can attack you.
A quick-striking Light Combo will keep you in control!
String together a Light Combo by pressing the Square/X button multiple times.
Get Macho Man trapped in the southeast corner facing you, and hit him with a huge Heavy Attack!
Irish Whip your opponent into the bottom-right corner. Once Savage is leaning against it, press the X/A button to perform a Heavy Attack.
Time to get some revenge! Do some damage to the Macho Man!
Inflict damage on Savage by performing a series of strike and grab moves until the meter is filled.
Now switch up the pace with a Heavy Combo to knock him back!
Press X/A repeatedly against a standing opponent to perform a Heavy Strike Combo.
Buy yourself a little time with a breather by sending Macho Man to the floor with a Strong Irish Whip!
Perform a Hammer Throw andtoss your opponent over the top ropeby holding the Circle/B button while performing an Irish Whip.
Now hit him with a Light Combo in the middle of the ring!
While in the ring with Savage, repeatedly press the Square/X button multiple times.
Really make him regret his actions, and get any of his limbs to Major (Red) Damage!
Cause Major Damage bytargeting a body partand repeatedly attacking it until the body part shows red.
You’re the Dragon, right? Then fly at Macho Man with any dive off the top rope!
This is better done when Savage is grounded. Run towards a corner with L2/LT to climb the turnbuckle and press Square/X or X/A to perform a diving attack.
Once you’ve got Savage down, connect with 3 big Grounded Attacks!
When Savage is lying on the ground, approach him from any side and press the X/A button to perform a Grounded Attack. Do this successfully three times.
He can’t hit the elbow if he can’t climb…Take out Macho Man’s leg with a Single Leg Boston Crab!
When Savage is grounded, hold the R2/RT and press Circle/B button to initiate a Single Leg Boston Crab. This will trigger a submission mini-game that prompts you to repeatedly tap the indicated button.
Macho Man is in trouble! A Grab Combo will have him right where you want him!
Perform a combo with Light and Heavy Attacks that ends with a grab move. To do this, you’ll need to press Circle/B at the end of the combination.
Send Savage into the southwest corner with an Irish Whip!
Irish Whip your opponent into the bottom-left corner by pressing the Circle/B button to grapple, followed by Circle/B and pointing the left directional stick to the bottom-left.

While the objectives are not all compulsory to complete the match and unlock the next one, you will miss out on the bonuses if you fail to tick off all the tasks. If you complete all the objectives, you will receive 4 additional roster members to play as in WWE 2K24, all of whom are featured in the match:
