To get the most out of these little creatures, you must keep them happy to boost their efficiency. This involves you providing them with valuable items like toys. Although finding and offering toys to your Deviants might seem daunting, this guide will walk you through the process step by step.
How to Get Toys
Toys are delightful additions inOnce Humanthat help keep your Deviants happy, increasing their efficiency andadding charmand personality to your surroundings. Fortunately, there are two main methods through which you can acquire toys in the game.
The first method involves purchasing toys directly inexchange forStarchrom, while the latter method requiresfinding them through exploration. Below, you’ll find a step-by-step process for both methods:
How to Purchase Toys with Starchrom
If you do not mindspending your Starchromin exchange for Toys, you can buy it directly. To purchase toys, press Esc on your keyboard to open the main menu and access the Season Goals tab.
Now, navigate to the Season Shop and click for theFurniture Formula One section. Here, you’re able to purchase the Llama plush toy for1,000 Starchrom. Once purchased, head back to your base and open your build menu by pressing B, find the Llama Plush Toyunder the Decoration section, and place it right next to one of your Deviant.
How to Get a Toy Through Exploration
If you don’t want to spend Starchrom and save it, you can find them through exploration. Simply head to theOil Refinery in the Red Sandsregion at coordinates roughly (5165, -1346). Look for a Blue Truck with a Hologram nearby, and step on the Hologram to activate it.
Follow the Hologram three more times to lead you to aMystical Cratethat contains theModel II Toy Formula. Nevertheless, you will need to be cautious, as this area has high-level enemies, so verify that you are skilled enough and well prepared to take them on.
While we tested this on multiple playthroughs, getting the Model II Toy Formula may not be guaranteed.
How to Craft and Use Toys
After obtaining the Toy Formula,teleport back to your base. Open the build menu and find the toy under the Decoration category. To craft the toy, you will need five pieces of Rubber, which you can obtain by recycling loot at theDisassembly Bench.
You can place the toy near Deviants who would benefit from it, such as theExtradimensional Cat, to enhance their efficiency.
