Batmanas a figure in pop culture cannot be denied. Since he came into being in May of 1939 in Detective Comics issue no. 27, Batman has continued to grow in popularity and is even a mainstay in gaming now as well. Recently, a designer created a beautifulBatmanconsole skin for the next-gen consoles, and the product was just sent into production.
Designer @POPeART_ has created a set ofBatmanconsole skins for the PS5 and Xbox Series X, and they are rather stunning. From the controller to the console itself, the design captures the intensity of Batman with a very appealing style.

In the world of video games,Batmanhas gone dark for the last few years. ThebelovedBatman: Arkhamseries–specifically the trilogy from Rocksteady–helped comic book and superhero video games transition into true AAA experiences as opposed to often-sloppy licensed shovelware titles. But since then, The World’s Greatest Detective has gone on a bit of a hiatus in some ways. However, games that have a strong connection to the Caped Crusader are on the way soon.
Batman: Arkham Knightreleased in 2015, nearly six years ago. Rocksteady’s next game follows a misfit crew as opposed to the defender of Gotham, but fans should not expect to hearnews aboutSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leagueany time too soon. Although Rocksteady is making it,Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League looks like a very different game from theBatman: Arkham Games. However, any other upcoming titles developed by a different developer may feel more like a spiritual successor to theArkhamtitles.
From the gameplay that has been shown so far of WB Montreal’s new game,Gotham Knightslooks to have a very similar style in terms of combat, visual aesthetics, and more to theArkhamseries. So even though Batman is not yet confirmed to be in the game, it stars many of his famous sidekicks over the years, including Robin, Batgirl, Nightwing, and Red Hood. Thehope is thatGotham Knightsis still on track for 2021and perhaps that would be the firstBatman-themed game that players who pick up thisBatmanconsole skin can enjoy.
