Like most online games,Call of Duty: Warzoneis not without its bugs and technical issues. Developer Infinity Ward will be addressing these problems in future updates, and it has since outlined four specific changes that will be coming toCall of Duty: Warzoneat some point soon.
The fourCall of Duty: Warzonebugs identified by Infinity Ward include an issue where players see “full-screen black corruption” when simply walking on theWarzonemap, an issue where players are told that their squad can still revive them even after everyone is dead, an issue where players don’t drop items when they disconnect from a match, and a bug where players get stuck in an animation when canceling a revive attempt.

It’s unclear exactly how common theseWarzonebugsare, but anecdotally, we can say that they have not been encountered during our time with the game. None of them seem to have gotten that much attention onWarzonecommunity forums either, so it seems like they’re not terribly common bugs. Regardless, it’s good that Infinity Ward is identifying and working to fix technical issues inWarzone, even if they aren’t impacting every player.
Besides bug fixes,Call of Duty: Warzoneplayers should have a lot more to look forward to in future updates for the game. It’s likely that Infinity Ward will add new content like weapons and items toWarzone, as well as possibly make changes to the battle royale map, as other games in the genre have done. It’s also possible thatWarzonewill add new game modes besides the standard battle royale andPlunder modethat are currently available.
It seems likely that majorWarzoneupdates will coincide with the updates for the standardCall of Duty: Modern Warfare. So whenModern WarfareSeason 2ends and Season 3 begins,Warzonefans can likely look forward to new content for their game as well. It’s also possible that bigWarzoneupdates will be staggered withModern Warfareseasonal updates to spread things out a bit more, but that remains to be seen.
Infinity Wardwill share more information onCall of Duty: Warzoneupdates and changes in the near future. In the meantime, fans can just focus on mastering the battle royale as it is in its current state.
