Kazuha can support any DPS that uses Elements that can be swirled inGenshin Impact. Once he triggers Swirl, he will grant a corresponding Elemental DMG Bonus based on his Elemental Mastery. As a Support, Kazuha’s DMG output heavily relies on Anemo reactions. The Swirl reaction occurs when Anemo interacts with Hydro, Cryo, Electro, or Pyro. However, Swirl also has a unique feature where it can occur when Kazuha is affected by one of those Elements.
Though initially underestimated, Kazuha has proven to be aninvaluable addition toGenshin Impact’s meta. His appeal lies in his ability to offer strong support to his teammates and deal substantial DMG. Additionally, Kazuha’s unique Elemental Skill, which launches him into midair, can be incredibly useful in non-combat situations.
Updated July 15, 2025, by Nahda Nabiilah:There are a lot of supports in Genshin Impact, but Anemo characters are known to be one of the most useful thanks to the Viridescent Venerer artifact. This set allows Anemo characters to reduce the enemy’s Elemental RES to the Element they Swirled. This allows characters like Kazuha to survive and stay viable in the game’s meta throughout the years. As long as the main DPS is one of the four aforementioned Elements, the Wandering Samurai can be included as a support, which means there are endless options forKazuha teams in Genshin Impact.
Kazuha + Neuvillette + Furina + Xilonen
Neuvillette is a monster when it comes to dealing crazy, continuous Hydro DMG. So, what’s better thanfilling his team with an entire cast of supportsthat will skyrocket his Charged attacks. Starting from Kazuha, he’ll find a lot of Hydro spreading around because of Neuvillette and Furina. Once he Swirls Hydro, Kazuha will greatly increase Neuvillette’s Hydro DMG while also reducing enemies’ resistance to it. Xilonen also needs Neuvillette and Furina’s Hydro to further lower enemies’ resistance to Hydro.
On the other hand, Furina possesses a high off-field Hydro DMG in addition to her Elemental Burst that insanely buffs the entire team’s DMG. Neuvillette will definitely enjoy all these buffs to pass his verdict on all the enemies who dare stand in his presence.
Team Roles
Kazuha + Raiden Shogun + Kujou Sara + Bennett
This Kazuha team inGenshin Impactmaximizes the DMG dealt by Raiden Shogun. Both Bennett and Kujou Sara will provide ATK buffs, while Kazuha increases the Electro Archon’s Electro DMG Bonus. Even better, when Sara is on her C6, she will further provide more Electro Crit DMG buff for Raiden, which will greatly increase her DMG.
Players can replace Bennett with other strong supports like Furina orXilonen inGenshin Impact. They will all work to make Raiden Shogun a strong hyper carry, especially Kazuha, who will provide great benefits to the Electro Element through his buffs and debuffs.
Kazuha + Ayaka + Shenhe + Kokomi
Morgana team comps inGenshin Impacthave one of the highest usage rates because of how strong they can be. As an Anemo character, Kazuha excels in such environments as he can Swirl all the Hydro and Cryo elements into a lot of Freeze reactions. In this Kazuha team, the Wandering Samurai will support Ayaka and enhance her Cryo DMG alongside Shenhe, who will also do the same.
On the other hand, Kokomi will provide an endless off-field Hydro application that will continuously help the team keep enemies frozen. This will greatly amplify Ayaka’s DMG as her Blizzard artifact set notably increases her Crit Rate against frozen enemies.
For this team, Shenhe can be replaced by Escoffier, and Kokomi can be swapped for Furina.
Kazuha + Hu Tao + Xingqiu + Bennett
It’s always good to pair Xingqiu withHu Tao inGenshin Impact. They’re a powerful duo that can deal so much Vaporize DMG to enemies while Hu Tao is charging her way through enemies. Since there are only two characters, there’s room for two more units to join this team and enhance their partnership. Starting from Kazuha, he’s not an ideal Hu Tao support since he’ll most likely steal her Vaporize away. Not only that, but Hu Tao only deals Pyro DMG when she’s on the field, so Kazuha will suffer to swirl Pyro.
This is where Bennett becomes important for this team. Bennett will ensure Kazuha can always find Pyro to swirl with, while providing sustainability and a lot of DMG buff to the team. Additionally, startKazuha’s rotation with his Elemental Burst, and Hu Tao won’t suffer from his off-field Pyro application, getting all the benefits while barely suffering any of the negatives.
