There’s more to buildcrafting inLords of the Fallenthan just mixing and matching weapons, armor, and accessories. Umbral Eyes offer varying passive bonuses that give players a much-needed edge when facing off against the horrors terrorizing Axiom.

Players may have already found an Umbral Eye early inLords of the Fallenand if so, they might be confused as to what they do and how to actually use them. Doing so isn’t as simple as it first appears, though it’s not exactly hard either. One only needs to know who to talk to.

How to Use Umbral Eyes in Lords of the Fallen

Umbral Eyes function similarly to rings and amulets. However, instead of having their dedicated equipment slots, these items are slotted into the Umbral Lamp. To insert Umbral Eyes into the lamp, players need to find Molhu, a hidden vendor inside Skyrest Bridge.

Molhu is an Umbral entity, which means he can only be found in the Umbral Realm. From the Skyrest Bridge Vestige, shift to the Umbral Realmand head up the set of stairs near Pieta. The otherwise empty altar room will now be occupied by the many-armed Molhu who offers a number of essential services.

Not only can Molhu let players harness the power of Umbral Eyes, but he also sells Umbral magic items as well as Vestige Seeds, which are used to create checkpoints on Umbral flower beds. Inserting Umbral Eyes is free, but the number of eyes players can use at a time depends on the upgrade level of their Umbral Lamp. If players have found any Antediluvian Chisels, give them to Molhu so he can improve their lamps.

Umbral Eyes provide passive bonuses that grant additional effects to a variety of actions. These aren’t necessarily limited to Umbral magic or the withered health mechanic, though many Umbral Eyes tend to focus on these. Some Umbral Eye passives include:

Players can find Umbral Eyes hidden within the environment. They’re usually in the Umbral Realm, so be extra sure tocheck points of interestand other suspicious objects in the environment to see if they have any secrets to plunder. Exploring the Umbral Realm is also a viable option, but be careful not to take too much time in there to avoid the Reaper’s gaze.
