Mortal Kombat 11will be adding Friendships on May 26, with every character on the roster getting their own Friendship that they can use instead of the excessively violent Fatalities. This includesDLC characters like Spawn, whose Friendship was recently revealed in a new video.

The Spawn Friendship inMortal Kombat 11is one of the most amusing Friendships that have been revealed for the game so far. In it, Spawn is relaxing in a hammock, reading a romance novel that bears his likeness. This is a far cry from Spawn’s Fatalities, which generally see him brutally mutilate his opponents. Like allMortal Kombat 11Friendships, the Spawn Friendship is accompanied by confetti and big, colorful balloon letters that spell “FRIENDSHIP” at the top of the screen.

TheMortal Kombat 11: Aftermathexpansion is releasing alongside the big May 26 update, and it will grant players access to RoboCop,Fujin, and Sheeva, along with brand new story content that picks up right where the base game left off. It’s easily the biggest post-release content forMortal Kombat 11to date, and so it has a premium price to match at $39.99.

Those that have never purchased theMortal Kombat 11Kombat Packcan get a pretty good deal if they decide to purchase theAftermathexpansion and Kombat Pack bundle. Mortal Kombat 11players that aren’t interested in spending more money on the game have plenty to look forward to on May 26 as well.
