WhilePokemon SwordandShieldhave been out for some time now, fans continue to enjoy what the eighth generation of the franchise has to offer. This is especially prevalent with its two-part DLC expansion pass, which gave players access to the Isle of Armor and Crown Tundra. There were plenty ofPokemon exclusive to the Crown Tundra DLC, many of them being legendary creatures from past games. Some of the legendaries introduced through this add-on are Galarian versions of Kanto’s Bird Trio.
The Galarian versions of Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltreshave radically different, yet familiar designs from their Kanto counterparts. The move sets and typing of each legendary bird are different from the originals, such as Articuno now being a Psychic-Flying type and Zapdos ditching its Electric attributes to become a Fighting-Flying type. Fans will be able to get their hands on free shiny versions of these Pokemon thanks to an upcoming distribution event.
