He theorizes that all these fossils were buried together in an instant. For that to happen, there must have been an intense change around The Chasm’s geological environment, like a large shockwave.

The Chasm’s Ancient Fossils Locations In Genshin Impact
For the first Ancient Fossil inGenshin Impact, go to the Teleport Waypoint north ofThe Chasm Main Mining Area. Then,drop to the ground level and go northwest. Players will find a small opening that leads to another section of The Chasm. Cross the bridge, then fight the Treasure Hoarders before taking pictures of the Ancient Fossil.
For the second Ancient Fossil inGenshin Impact,use either the Teleport Waypointon the north or on the east of the Ad-Hoc Main Tunnel. Then, glide to the marked spot and find the Ancient Fossil around the ground level.
The third Ancient Fossil inGenshin Impactis hidden up above the Underground Chasm. To access it, use the Teleport Waypoint south of the Underground Waterway, then find an Anemo monument.
Activate the Anemo monument to release a wind current that assists players to glide far above. Make sure to touch the Wind Rings to boost the character further up. Other than the Ancient Fossil,Travelers can also find a Luxurious Chest somewherein this tunnel.
Next, for the fourth Ancient Fossil inGenshin Impact, use the same Teleport Waypoint south of the Underground Waterway, then, walk south along the walls until players find some Hilichurls in front of the Ancient Fossil.
For the lastGenshin ImpactAncient Fossil, use the Teleport Waypoint in The Glowing Narrows, then walk west. Keep following the path until players have to drop down to a watery area. The Ancient Fossil can be found around this part.
