Palworldis an open-world RPG that quickly grew into one of the most popular games of early 2024, withsoaring player counts on Steam and Xbox. What sets it apart from other creature-capture adventures is the survival-crafting aspect, which pits players against rigorous weather conditions, occasional raids, and starvation. Players can avoid these circumstances by building a base and filling it with structures, production tools, and other crafts to keep both the player and their Pals alive.
While common materials like Wood, Stone, Ore, and Fiber are relatively easy to farm, the higher-grade materials likeCarbon Fibermust be processed through various different methods. These items won’t be available early on, but eventually become unlocked through level grinding and proper use ofPalworld’s Technology Point system. To be able to create Carbon Fiber, there are a few factors to consider, including the necessary production tools to add to the base, and the materials required for crafting.

Unlocking Production Assembly Line
First, players will need to reach Player Level 27 in order to unlock the Production Assembly Line. The production structure costs twoTechnology Points, but will come in handy for many useful items. Players will gain access to items they’ve unlocked through the Technology section, such as Shields, Gliders, Ammo, and Arrows. Carbon Fiber can also be constructed from the Production Assembly Line, using the following items:
Players can findCoalinPalworldin a few regions, including areas such as Investigator’s Fork and Fisherman’s Point.Charcoalcan be made at the base if the Primitive Furnace has been unlocked. Using a Level 2 Kindling Pal, players canfarm Charcoal in no time, and the process requires just two pieces of wood. This means players would need 10 pieces of wood in total to construct one Carbon Fiber, which makes it an easy task.

As one can expect from a material that comes with multiple usages, Carbon Fiber comes with a workload of 100 per unit. This requires some patience when building up a stockpile of items, and a trustedPal with a high Handiwork level. Players can also assist with completing this task, and it will speed up the process when setting multiples to be crafted. Penking or Anubis will have Carbon Fiber flying off the Production Line in no time. Carbon Fiber can be used to build some of the following equipment:
The better forms of weapons and equipment will require a large amount of Carbon Fiber, while individual spheres may need just a few. Inthe later stages of aPalworldplaythrough, it’s a good idea to have a Production Assembly Line installed with a dedicated Pal assigned to make Carbon Fiber during working hours. Just be sure they are properly fed and cared for, as designing this material can weigh on their sanity over time.

Carbon Fiber Drops From Pals
Alternatively, players can pick up some Carbon Fiber via spawn drops from Pals. Only two Pals can drop Carbon Fiber at the time of writing, and they are no easy feat.Jetragon, the Legendary Dragon Pal, is found north of the Beach of Everlasting Summer Fast Travel waypoint and packs staggering HP and Attack stats. It canalso drop Diamonds, which are perfect for farming coins.
The only other Pal to drop Carbon Fiber isShadowbeak, found on the eastern edge of the Number 3 Wildlife Sanctuary island. Defense is Shadowbeak’s strongest stat, so taking it on will be difficult for all levels of players. They drop Pal Metal Ingot as well, which is the strongest grade ofIngot in the game.

If players are up for the challenge, beating these two Pals will build up experience fast while earning tons of valuable items. Otherwise, it’s probably best to save the headache and use the Pals back at the base to farm Carbon Fiber.
