After attempting to catch Mimog or attacking it on sight, they will shed their impostor appearance and go straight to the attack, revealing their eyes and tongue. Mimog Skills & Work Suitability, Explained

Mimog is aneutral-type palthat has quite a backstory. It’s believed that humans who discovered Mimog would mistake it for a treasure chest and attempt to open it, and unfortunately meet their end from a deathly bite. Although they don’t have any treasure inside, Mimog does drop quite a bounty.

Whether players catch Mimog or destroy it with a weapon or ally pal, Mimog has the potential to drop Gold Coins, Dog Coins, and Training Manuals (XL). This should give plenty of reasons for players to seek out Mimog, as it is an easier way to build up currency compared to other gold-related pals, such asMau.

Sadly, Mimog isn’t capable of handling its own on the battlefield, and it won’t be of much service at the base either, as it only has a Level 1 Gathering work suitability. It makes up for its worth in its partner skill,Unlock. With Mimog out and accompanying the player around the map, it can detect nearby treasure chests and open them up for the player. Its skill level will determine the rarity of the treasure chest it can open, so it’s best to build that up quickly.
