The impressive futuristic Paradox form of Flygon concept comes from Reddit user HertzBurst, who posted several images of their creation to one of the site’s mainPokemonforums. Titled Iron Wings, the design keeps Flygon’s key features largely intact, making a few adjustments to give it a high-tech look. This includes Flygon’s wings and tail tips extra polygonal, and floating detached from the main body. All limbs have been given mechanical-looking articulating joints, and the eyes now resemble a digital display. Flygon’s original color scheme remains - updated with metallic sheen and textures - resulting in a rather safe, but solid design.

In addition to the initial image, HertzBurst also includes a few extra images of their work, including a great-looking take on a shiny Iron Wings. The artwork has clearly impressed many aPokemonfan, as the post has garnered well over 500 upvotes within just hours of posting. This actually isn’t the first time the artist has come up with an impressive idea for a Pokemon’s Paradox form, however. Just a few weeks ago, the same artist made headlines for their incredibleLugia Paradox form concept, which similarly keeps all the Pokemon’s identifiable features while adding futuristic elements.

The Paradox form of Flygon post is largely filled with compliments, with some fans voicing that Flygon would be better served having an ancient Paradox form, given the creature’s dragonfly-like appearance. The comments desiring Flygon to be given an ancient Paradox form instead is reflective of an ongoing complaint fans have with their official designs. WhilePokemon Scarletfans have a wide swathe of designs for theirs,Pokemon Violetfans are biting the bullet with Paradox formsin their game, as the robotic design motif has been found to be quite restrictive and uninspiring.

While many may be findingPokemon’s official future Paradox forms a bit on the bland side, that certainly hasn’t prevented fans from coming up with ideas of their own. AnotherPokemonfan recently came up with afuturistic mecha version of Flygon, with a design completely different from the one above. With Flygon’s impending addition as part ofPokemon Scarlet and Violet’sThe Indigo Disk DLC, the Pokemon is bound to inspire even more fan artwork in the future.
