However, the overall reception has been pretty good so far thanks to the debut of some extremely popular Pokemon such as Necrozma.
In a new tweet, Niantic has teased the next Pokemon that might be coming toPokemon GO. The developer urged the players to keep completing Global Challenges and also posted a silhouette of a Pokemon, the good old-fashioned way. Players were quick to figure out which Pokemon it was, being none other than the mouse Pokemon from Generation 9, Maushold. The post doesn’t have a release date, but it is stated that theUltra Unlock: Better Together event is next in line inPokemon GO, which can possibly be when the Pokemon debuts. The Ultra Unlock: Better Together event commences right after GO Fest concludes, with the event scheduled to run between July 17th to July 22nd.
How Tandemaus Evolves Into Maushold
Maushold is a Normal-typePokemon that was added as part of the Paldea regionin Generation 9. Maushold is quite a unique Pokemon to bring toPokemon GO, as it is actually a group of multiple Pokemon similar to the likes of Dugtrio, and has two separate forms, Family of Four and Family of Three. It will be interesting to see how players will be able to get the two forms of Maushold in the event. Unlike some other Pokemon such as Eevee, where players can control what evolution they will get, Tandemaus' evolution into Maushold might be a random one.
After all,Tandemaus' evolution is RNG based inPokemon Scarlet and Violet, and it should be noted that this kind of evolution would not be a first forPokemon GO. Clamperl is another Pokemon that evolves into either Huntail or Gorebyss, and players don’t have a way to determine the outcome. This is also random, with the only difference being that Huntail and Gorebyss have equal odds. Maushold, on the other hand, might have more preference toward the Family of Four variant inPokemon GOsimilar to how it works inPokemon Scarlet and Violet. For now, players will just have to wait and see how Niantic handles this critter’s addition.
