There a few other clips in thePokemon Legends: Arceustrailer of Pokemon trying to attack humans. This includes a Geodude launching itself at the player and aGarchomppreparing an attack as well. Needless to say,Pokemon Legends: Arceusis going to put the human player character in a lot more danger than fans may be used to from playing the other main seriesPokemonvideo games.
Pokemon attacking humans is nothing new in the generalPokemonfranchise, as there are countless scenes in the anime where humans are attacked by Pokemon. In fact, almost every episode featuresTeam Rocket being electrocuted by Pikachuor sent “blasting off again” through some other method. However, it’s territory that hasn’t really been explored all that much in the main seriesPokemonvideo games, which have instead focused on the battles between Pokemon.
While Pokemon will attempt to attack humans inPokemon Legends: Arceus, there will still be plenty of battles between the Pokemon themselves. The main goal of the game is tocomplete the Hisui region Pokedex, which players will do by catching wild Pokemon and then using those wild Pokemon in battle against others to make catching them easier, and so on and so forth.Pokemon Legends: Arceusis making major changes to the battle system, so it will still be quite a bit different from what fans are used to, but the basic idea behind battling and catching Pokemon should stay intact.
ThePokemon Legends: Arceusrelease dateis right around the corner, so soon fans will be able to experience it all for themselves.
