Sometimes these codes givePokemon Scarlet and Violetplayers free items, but the more exciting ones give them free Pokemon.One of the more recentPokemon Scarlet and Violetdistribution events saw players get anEast Sea Gastrodonfor free. This wasn’t just any East Sea Gastrodon, though. It was an East Sea Gastrodon based on the one used by 2022 Pokemon Trainers Cup Champion Wonseok Jung, meaning it came with the moves Earth Power, Ice Beam, Yawn, and Protect. From now until July 3, using the codePAULEU1CW1Nwill let players claim their shiny Arcanine. The super rare Pokemon is being given away to celebrate the North America International Championships and is based on Paul Chua’s Arcanine. Their Arcanine had the moves Flare Blitz, Extreme Speed, Will-O-Wisp, and Protect, the Intimidate ability,Grass Tera type, and Safety Goggles for the held item.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Arcanine Code
For the uninitiated, shiny Pokemon are super rare variants that have slightly different color schemes than their normal counterparts. There areways forPokemon Scarlet and Violetplayers to increase their shiny odds, but it mostly boils down to luck. Being able to get a shiny Pokemon for free is a big deal for manyPokemon Scarlet and Violetfans, and it should go a long way in helping them complete their collection of shiny Pokemon.
Later this year,Pokemon Scarlet and Violetplayers will have even more Pokemon to catch. Nintendo is planning on expanding thePokemon Scarlet and Violetexperience with two sizable expansion packs, one dropping in the fall and another dropping in the winter. Collectively known asThe Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, the first expansion pack is called The Teal Mask and will feature new legendary Pokemon Ogerpon, while The Indigo Disk will featurenew legendary Pokemon Terapagos.
It’s possible that there will be even more new Pokemon added toPokemon Scarlet and Violetas part of the DLC besides Ogerpon and Terapagos, but if so, they haven’t been revealed at this time. Fans do know that the two DLC packs will featureplenty of returning Pokemonthat didn’t make the initial cut, so they have those creatures to look forward to at least. In the meantime,Pokemon Scarlet and Violetplayers can claim this shiny Arcanine for free.
